NOON CST THURSDAY...
* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 23 below. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind
chills as low as 28 below expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kansas and northwest and west
central Missouri.
* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until midnight CST tonight.
For the Extreme Cold Warning, from midnight tonight to noon CST
Thursday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 28 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.
