...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CASS AND
SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 542 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Raymore, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown, Grandview, Belton,
Raymore, Pleasant Hill, Greenwood, Peculiar, Lake Lotawana, Lake
Winnebago, Lone Jack, Lake Tapawingo, Baldwin Park, and Unity
Village.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 15 and 17.
 Interstate 470 between mile markers 2 and 16.
