JOHNSON...SOUTHERN CLAY...SOUTHWESTERN RAY...WEST CENTRAL LAFAYETTE
AND JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 330 AM CDT...
At 306 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking multiple thunderstorms
across the Kansas City Metro, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee's Summit,
Shawnee, Blue Springs, Lenexa, Leawood, Raytown, Liberty, Grandview,
Prairie Village, Grain Valley, Excelsior Springs, Merriam, Mission,
Oak Grove, Richmond, and Lexington.

Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 31.
Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 421 and 423.
Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 6.

Interstate 470 between mile markers 0 and 16.
