CENTRAL LEAVENWORTH AND NORTHWESTERN JOHNSON COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM
CDT...
At 352 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
De Soto, moving west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Olathe, Shawnee, Lenexa, Bonner Springs, De Soto, Edwardsville,
Linwood, Holliday, and Clearview City.
This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 217 and 222.
