LAFAYETTE...SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON AND NORTHWESTERN JOHNSON COUNTIES
THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...

At 1005 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Blue Springs to Greenwood to near Peculiar.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Raymore, Grain Valley,
Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Oak Grove, Odessa, Greenwood, Peculiar,
Lake Lotawana, Lake Winnebago, Lone Jack, Lake Tapawingo, East Lynne,
Kingsville, Baldwin Park, Lake Lafayette, and Bates City.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 16 and 38.
 Interstate 470 between mile markers 8 and 16.
