The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Pettis County in central Missouri...
  Cooper County in central Missouri...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 426 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Green Ridge to near Smithton to 7 miles north
  of Stover to near Versailles, moving east at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lamine, Otterville, Boonville, Sedalia, Bunceton, Prairie Home,
  Sedalia Memorial Arpt, Smithton, Wooldridge, Pilot Grove, and
  Clifton City.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 95 and
114.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Missouri.
