...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN HENRY...PETTIS...SOUTHWESTERN SALINE...SOUTHEASTERN
LAFAYETTE...SOUTHWESTERN COOPER AND EASTERN JOHNSON COUNTIES...

At 426 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over La Monte, or
near Whiteman Air Force Base, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Sedalia, Warrensburg, Marshall, Windsor, Knob Noster, Concordia,
Sweet Springs, Whiteman Air Force Base, La Monte, Smithton, Leeton,
Green Ridge, Calhoun, Otterville, Blackburn, Houstonia, Whiteman Afb,
Emma, Hughesville, and Mount Leonard.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 53 and
81.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
