...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN LINN...NORTHEASTERN GRUNDY...SULLIVAN...EASTERN MERCER
AND PUTNAM COUNTIES...

At 545 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Mercer to near Spickard to 7 miles west of
Browning, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Public. Quarter size hail was reported in Spickard at 541
         pm.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Trenton, Milan, Unionville, Princeton, Green City, Mercer,
Greencastle, Browning, Spickard, Galt, Laredo, Newtown, Humphreys,
Pollock, Lucerne, Tindall, Harris, Powersville, Osgood, and Winigan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Missouri.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
