...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN HOWARD AND COOPER COUNTIES...

At 1113 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Clarksburg, or 10 miles north of California, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Boonville, New Franklin, Bunceton, Prairie Home, Franklin,
Wooldridge, and Lamine.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 94 and
114.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central
Missouri.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
