...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL JOHNSON AND JACKSON COUNTIES...

At 1057 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lake
Winnebago, or near Greenwood, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue
Springs, Leawood, Raytown, Grandview, Grain Valley, Greenwood,
Buckner, Lake Lotawana, Lone Jack, Lake Tapawingo, Levasy, Unity
Village, Stanley, and Tarsney Lakes.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 11 and 29.
 Interstate 470 between mile markers 0 and 16.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 66 and 75.
